Gina graduated from the University of Ottawa law school in 1994. After articling at a local Ottawa firm she was admitted to Law Society of Upper Canada in 1996. Gina has extensive court experience having worked as a Crown prosecutor as well with several Ottawa area law firms representing clients in a variety of family law matters.
Prior to practicing law Gina worked as a social worker and has extensive experience in dealing with child protection and abuse. Her commitment to representing the vulnerable in our society has continued in her legal practice where she has considerable experience dealing with custody and access issues.
Gina is an unwavering advocate in the pursuit of her client's interests. She also appreciates a client's need for calm and understanding counsel in the midst of stressful and emotionally difficult disputes. Fluent in French and Italian, Gina welcomes clients to communicate with her in those languages. She pleads cases in either English or French.
Gina was raised in Montreal where she attended McGill University graduating with a Bachelors of Social Work in 1986. She is active in organized swimming and running, and enjoys cycling and downhill skiing. She resides with family in Canada.
