Bill obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and his law degree from the University of Manitoba. In law school he worked for the Manitoba Law Journal and at the Legal Aid Clinic assisting clients in minor criminal matters. After articling with a national firm in Guelph & Waterloo, Ontario, Bill was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2009.

 

Since moving to Ottawa in 2010 Bill has practiced civil litigation and employment law and also works part-time as a Crown prosecutor for the Ministry of the Attorney General. In his private practice Bill has represented clients in the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board and in the Superior Court of Justice. Bill is continuing his employment law and civil litigation work as an associate with Connolly Nichols Allan & Snelling LLP, he appreciates the need for timely advice in civil litigation and employment law related disputes and he strives to find solutions tailored to each individual client’s needs.

 

Bill is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the County of Carleton Law Association. In the past Bill competed for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues swim team and remains active in various sports including swimming, cycling and cross-country skiing.
